Edisto Elementary School has decided to combine the State Gifted and Talented students with the top students in each grade based on their Spring MAP Score.

State Identified Gifted and Talented Students
* Passed 2 of 3 Dimensions
Criteria 2
Top students’ averages on the spring English Language Arts and Math NWEA National Norm Test better known as MAP
* Trial placement is for one year.
* Students whose progress with the program at the end of the trial placement is not deemed adequate by the Evaluation/Placement team may be withdrawn from the program.
* Students who score high enough on the spring ELA and Math MAP scores averaged together will be allowed to continue in the program for the next school year.
